Frequently Asked Questions


1. Can I store my furniture in C7A?
No. We do not have facilities to store furniture. All furniture going into the C7A Furniture Re-Use Scheme becomes part of the general University pool.

2. Can I take furniture home?
No. All furniture is for use on-campus only and remains the property of the University. Items cannot be taken off-campus.

3. You haven't got what I need. Can I put a request in?
Yes. If we haven't got an item you need then send us an email and let us know what you need. Items are constantly coming into the store. We can put you on a request list and contact you when new items arrive.

4. Do I need to pay for furniture?
You do not need to pay for furniture. Bulky or heavy items may require the use of external removalists. If this is the case, then you will have to pay moving costs. We will let you know if moving costs are involved and give you an estimate of how much it may cost.

5. Can you hold an item for me?
No. Unfortunately we do not have the resources or space to hold items.
